Countries with partial visa exemption
The following is a list of countries that have partial visa exemption for Canadian citizens. Please note that this list is not exhaustive and that each country’s visa requirements may vary.
Argentina: Citizens of Argentina do not need a visa to enter Canada for a stay up to six months. However, they must meet all other entry requirements, including a valid passport.
Australia: Citizens of Australia do not need a visa to enter Canada for a stay up to six months. However, they must meet all other entry requirements, including a valid passport.

Brazil: Citizens of Brazil do not need a visa to enter Canada for a stay up to six months if they are travelling as part of an organized tour group or if their visit is connected with an academic engagement or business purpose. Brazilian nationals who are travelling alone or who are not travelling as part of an organized tour group will require a tourist certificate from their home country prior to arrival in Canada.
China: China has implemented new restrictions on tourists entering through airports in Beijing and Shanghai starting from September 30th, 2017 which includes limiting the number of foreign visitors coming into China per day and requires visas be obtained prior to travel to China .
